Emergency hiatus - TMI my wonderful roommate has left with thé router and i'm scrambling with moving and all. Very sorry for all my newest lines and even more for my steady lines. I really didn't want this to happen. |

At the expense of betraying the guilty pleasures of my adolescence, would you be at all interested in a slash twist on the Kaitlyn/Gabriel relationship in the Dark Visions trilogy? It's been ages and ages, but it sticks out in my mind because it was one of the few young adult horror series that let the anti-hero get the girl.

Wow. You are the first person who has ever had anything to say about that particular book series, so you already get points for that! That being said, I would be interested only if the characters were a bit older, and we weren't just rewriting the same story with a slash pair. And what would we do with the other characters, since it would be a bit less interesting if Rob, for one, were just an NPC, since there would be no real struggle.

Yay, points! I agree completely on altering the story, and I wouldn't mind making them older at all. I'm also open to writing supporting characters, if that's what you're getting at re: Rob?

Good! What sort of age range would we be looking at? And which role would you rather play? I'd imagine that "Gabe"'s power would have to remain the same whereas "Kaitlyn"'s can be changed. And yes, I think it would be more fun to have supporting characters - Rob, for one, and maybe someone on the "other side" from Gabe's past so it's not just one guy stuck choosing between two, especially if he's going to end up choosing "Gabe" anyway.
Would we still be going with an Institute-like establishment giving away scholarships to lure physics in? Or paying for something - footing the medical bill for one person, whereas appealing to the curious side of another person who wants to know more about his own psychic abilities, etc.? |

Please bear with my on-and-off-ness (if that word even exists) for one more weekend. My internship ends tomorrow and I will be away for the weekend, but the internship is done! No more brain-numbing work and having to commute two hours per day and have next to no time. :) You are welcome to murder me on Monday.
