CHARACTER PAGE/ EXAMPLES
Characters that I'd love to play in a one-on-one/ private storyline:

Matthew Guion; Rainer Klein Amsel
Mid- to late twenties; Germanic; acoustics engineer; haemophilic; misogynistic; never knew father; mother hanged herself; Poseidon's call; changeable; cold fish; unpleasant and sarcastic; hates any mention of his mother; secretly scared of women; a "false" homosexual; vegetarian; frequently heard to have said that he would personally murder his mother if she weren't already dead.

Mathias Lauridsen; Étienne Philippe de la Blanchetière
Mid- to late twenties; Frenchman; grew up in poverty; his family owns a now-useless tobacco plantation; maintains a good relationship with his half-siblings; architect; photographic memory; bleeding heart; stick in the mud; boyish, appears younger than he really is; short-sighted; if he was more superstitious, he would say that he was cursed because everything he does for purely selfish reasons seem to backfire completely on him.

Boyd Holbrook; Tobias Brandt
Late teens; Germanic; androgynous and delicate-looking; might have Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD); abusive father; protective and obsessive elder half-brother; lives with his stepmother; suffers from moderate guilt over the death of his mother in childbirth; insecure; earnest; against all odds, his innocence seems to still be stubbornly intact; "high on life;" overly helpful; easily hurt; surprisingly, not as gullible as he should be.

Ben Vescovi; Dr. Edward Nicholas Colburn
Mid twenties; apparently an Englishman; historian and lecturer and all 'round overachiever; coincidentally, all of his family have passed away, some under strange circumstances and others quite mundane; has a huge capacity to hate; brutish when one gets past the stiff politeness; awkward in social situations; unable to see colour from birth; convinced that something is haunting him; might be mentally unstable; has a knack for culture and languages; a bit of a hypochondriac; "just waiting to snap."

Hara Toshimara; Kenjiro Fox/ Azariel
Early twenties; apparently of Chinese or Japanese descent; intersexual; rich brat; completely white-washed with his trilingualism being his only saving grace in that respect; horrendously fickle college student by day, cross-dresser (is it cross-dressing when you're pretending to be a girl?) by night; mentally disturbed; confused over the lack of a gender identity; sometimes nervous and fidgety, sometimes full of self-confidence and flirtatious; scared of being found out; a target of over-zealous human rights activists' hatred thanks to father's job as a genetic engineer; no less than five different pills are part of his daily meals; might have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

Terachi Shinya; Murasaki Koizumi/ Violet
Mid-twenties; all male, despite appearances; just a bit beyond metrosexual; straight; has conservative parents who insisted on his studying in Japan even though he was born elsewhere; learned English in hopes of getting good roles in the US; star actor in "tasteful" BDSM and role-play porn movies; pays men to pose as his boyfriends for publicity; pretending to be a transvestite; fiercely ambitious; shameless; avoidant; spends more time putting on a fake Japanese accent than speaking actual English; quoted to be "willing to do anything for fame."

Jack Breannan; Nathaniel Rathborn-Prideaux
"The Shadow;" Early twenties; a wastrel, skipping from one major to another, and holding down a rather dubious job that most say he still has only because of his parents' names; deathly skinny; his shadow might just be able to act independently of his actions; sources of light have an odd tendency to flicker when he first steps into a room; chatty, overall quite a pleasant person; has an odd sense of fairness; likes to let others benefit from his wealth in rather unconventional ways; loves traveling and is very well-travelled; very open with his emotions; a bit spoiled; judgmental; a lack of motivation in whatever other people do drives him insane; contrary and contradicts himself frequently.

Roc Montandon; Cory Reid
"The Conqueror Worm;" Creole; early to mid-twenties; never seems able to hold down the same job for long and a jack-of-all-trades; has a weird sort of rash covering his right arm and doesn't seem to want to go away even after a hack surgery; his on-and-off job that he keeps with despite his apparent fickleness isn't legal at all; seems like an utter idiot; can't pronounce his own last name the right way; has an annoying tendency to misuse phrases and words, and not above making up his own words and phrases; always in a good mood; the only thing his parents left him is a decrepit house that sinks deeper and deeper into the bayou with every passing year; evidently impossible to offend; can't seem to hold on to the money he earns for very long.

Andrew Smith; Galen Hollister.
"The Nightingale;" biological parents and actual age unknown, raised by a religious and elderly couple; nationality: English; seems to be in his mid- to late twenties; has a congenital heart disease which can no longer be remedied via surgery after the last failed attempt; prone to vertigo and has a tendency to black out without any warning; goes through life with an odd sort of resignation and a zeal to help as many people as he can; has a very poor opinion of human goodness in general; internationally renowned pop opera star; just barely scraped through high school; has an amazing voice that is more than it seems; painfully shy; has horrible taste in most things though a good judge of people; loves Chinese tea; has an inordinate fear of cats and a dislike of birds.
